Exhibition Announcement
From August 1 to August 13, we will be presenting our exhibition “Ibasho” at Maana Atelier in Kyoto.
The theme of this exhibition is Ibasho.
Ibasho is a Japanese word that means a place where you can truly be yourself.
Through indigo, we have expressed ourselves and built connections with others.
Maana Atelier, our exhibition venue, is a place that carries Japan’s timeless wisdom and aesthetic values into contemporary life, creating experiences that awaken the senses and inspire new perspectives.
Through indigo, and through space.
In different ways, both SLOW FABRIC and Maana have sought to create moments and places where people can simply be themselves.
We hope that experiencing the indigo, engaging with the works, and spending time in this space will offer an opportunity to reflect on what Ibasho means to you.
During the exhibition, we will also be holding indigo dyeing workshops using the naturally fermented indigo vat prepared especially for this exhibition.
We look forward to welcoming you.
